Production area: territories of Squinzano and Novoli and part of territories of Campi Salentina, Trepuzzi and Surbo (Province of Lecce); territories of San Pietro Vernotico and Torchiarolo and part of territory of Cellino San Marco (Province of Brindisi) – Salento, Southern Puglia

Wine types: Red; Red Reserve; Rosé

Vine varieties: Negroamaro (min. 70%); Malvasia Nera di Brindisi, Malvasia Nera di Lecce, Sangiovese (max. 30%)

Alcohol by volume: 12,5% (Red and Rosé); 13% (Reserve)

Organoleptic properties

Squinzano DOC Red is ruby red in colour with varying intensity. To the nose it is vinous, typical, ethereal and intense. To the palate it is full-bodied, dry, robust but velvety and well-orchestrated. Squinzano DOC Rosé ranges from light ruby red to cherry. To the nose it is vinous and perfumed. To the palate it is savoury, stylish and velvety.
