Take! Puglia 2014: four chefs will represent the region from North to South

CHEF-TAKE-PUGLIAThe 2nd edition of Take! Puglia will take place on May 10-11-12 in Ceglie Messapica (Brindisi). The event, organized by Vinoway.com and Puglia’s Regional Department for Agriculture, will choose the best food and wine pairings.
Four Apulian chefs will prepare their dishes with regional ingredients and some of the best Puglia’s wineries will pair them with their wines.
The best food and wine pairings will be crowned by a jury panel made from Vinoway representatives, chefs and food and wine journalists.
Contestant chefs will represent Puglia from North to South and will be Nazario Biscotti (Ristorante Le Antiche Sere, Lesina, Foggia); Giacinto Fanelli (Ristorante Biancofiore, Bari); Michelin-starred Sebastiano Lombardi (Ristorante Cielo del Relais La Sommità, Ostuni, Brindisi); Ippazio Turco (Ristorante Lemì, Tricase, Lecce).
The 3-day event is open to the public for wine and food tastings.
